Here + There | from our home to your mailbox.

Today, I'm putting out one last blurb about my Christmas album, Here + There. This blurb, this short video, was a collaborative effort between my husband, my four-year-old curly-headed boy, and myself. (Jobie was busy sawing logs.) I wasn't planning on including the beginning clip of the video. I was hoping for a word-perfect line from Graeme. And then, I realized, no, it was exactly perfect just the way it was because this, this, is truly from our home. To your volcano mailbox. (Don't worry, you'll get that line in a minute!)

I also want to say a ginormous thank you for your support of this year-long project that I've entitled Here + There | A Christmas Collective. I've been so overwhelmed by your generous purchases, your offers to share it with your friends, and your kind words and recommendations via Facebook/Twitter/Instagram. We decided earlier this year, because of our recent move, that we'd stay put for the holidays. We wanted to spend this first Christmas with the people here, making memories with our new family, this body of believers. But I want to tell you with a very thankful heart that, if we wanted to, and because of your support of Here + There, we could purchase tickets this very moment and fly across the United States to spend Christmas with family. And so, as we plan a family vacation for the upcoming summer that includes visiting lots of our family back east, know that your support is a huge part of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

If you'd like to download Here + There to your iPhone or computer, you'll find it available here. If you'd like to order Here + There in CD form to receive and enjoy prior to Christmas day, place your order, via my Etsy shop, by this evening. I'm crossing my fingers for on-time, two-day deliveries to your mailboxes. (smile)

p.s. Auld Lang Syne is my husband's favorite from the album and he told me that I did for him with Auld Lang Syne what Pink Martini did for Little Drummer Boy. (Read: two of his least favorite songs are now favorites in his book.) That compliment made me smile. Big. Merry Monday to you!

    1. Jenna,
I know it. Isn't he a hoot? My husband and I just cracked up laughing as we watched it again. My favorite is his face after he tells me that "that was a funny one". Love him!

  2. This post makes me burst with happiness for you and your family! I just love this so much, and your hubby did such a great job with that video. And hand Graeme another cookie for his star quality performance. That kid and his imagination are the sweetest!

    1. Thank you, Susanna! Didn't that husband of mine do such a great job? I agree. I'm thankful that he puts up with my requests. We actually scrapped the first entire video that we shot and did this one after he got home from church yesterday, after a long (but awesome) business meeting. We're getting ready to hire a youth/young families pastor and yesterday the budget was passed to do so. The people are so excited about it and that just thrills our hearts. So exciting to see what God is doing in our small body of believers!

      p.s. I know-- isn't his imagination the best? So cute : )
