Dear 2 0 1 2,
You were an incredibly packed-down year, full to the brim with picnics, slobbery kisses + bear hugs, refreshing trips to the coast, and all of the little must-dos in between, like Portland's rose garden in June, the county fair, home-made caramel apples, and the ever-popular Christmas tree hunt. You brought us a much anticipated wedding celebration, visits with dear family, and real-life meetings with kindred spirits. In you, we found numerous celebrations, like, celebrating seven years of marriage! We welcomed friends' little ones to the world and we watched our own little ones grow and flourish. We wrote down dozens of hilarious sayings by Graemie-bear. We laughed a lot and might have cried more, but found God and his mercy in all of it. Or, rather, God found us in all of it. And I'm so thankful, as I stand here on the brink of this new year, to catch my breath and recount all that God has done.

There's just one thing that I am sorely disappointed over: you didn't bring sweet Jobie one single  bottom tooth. Have mercy.

Happy New Year, reading friends!

  6. Such sweet, sweet, pictures, Sarah! Happy New Year :) I would love to say that this is the year we come visit you....but I have not gotten any promises from Dave (although, now was probably not the time to bring it up! He does have a good prospect and job interview on Monday!)

  7. Kerry,
You are the first person to notice : ) Yes, when I changed to a .com, I decided to make the switch from 'B' to 'me'. I had so many people ask what the 'B' stood for-- even those who knew my last name. So, I thought it might make more sense to be Cranny + Me: a blog about Cranny, the etsy shop and creative ongoings in my life and my life in general. Hope I don't further confuse people : )

Sara! Thank you! Oh man, how I would LOVE that! Praying for Monday so much!
