Are you in love with circle photos as much as I am? Here's a little tutorial on how to easily create them with your iphone. ( Don't be disheartened if you don't own an iphone-- I *believe* you can also download the Diptic app for use on your computer as well. ) First, dowload the Diptic app. ( Seriously, their name is a little odd to me, but I love their product! )
The series of pictures above are actual screenshots from my iphone while I created the circle photo. You can download pictures from your phone, twitter, facebook, flickr, and a few other places. After downloading the app, choose the single square. It will load your picture for you and in the bottom right corner, you will see the option "effects". Touch it and a button at the top right corner will appear that says "border". Click it, and make your screen looks like my bottom left picture. And, voila! Now you can export your photo to instagram, flickr, your email, etc.
ps. I hope to share a tutorial soon on DIY embroidery. What I know about embroidery amounts to a hill of beans, but I am willing to share my bean hill. ( smile )

Hi! I just picked up my own embroidery hoop yesterday and played around with french knots. I love your embroidered word a lot. I agree with your idea about following only the blogs you love (new to blogging myself) and I laughed out loud when I saw your post about driving "up" to Boston.
